Christmas Craft of the Day
Make your Own Christmas Stocking
Collect used, clean, hole-free socks in white or bright colors.
Give one sock to each child and let them decorate their socks with
red and green markers, fabric paint or by gluing on holiday ribbons,
bows, lace etc.
Older children can sew on buttons and baubles.
Display with your holiday decorations.

Edible Snowflakes
Ingredients:
Flour Tortillas
Powdered Sugar
Vegetable Oil
Directions:
Gently fold a flower tortilla into quarters. Use scissors to cut
designs in it, just like you would with a paper snowflake.
Heat
the oil in a large pan and fry the tortilla until crispy (an adult
should do this). Take the tortilla out of the oil, pat it with a
paper towel to remove some of the excess oil and dust it with
powdered sugar.

Christmas Traditions
Feed the Animals
Each year, you can decorate a tree in the woods for the animals.
Gather some pinecones, and cover them with peanut butter. Then put
the pinecone into a Ziploc bag with birdseed and shake. Your child
will love this.
You can also watch the classic video
Berenstain Bears Christmas Tree where Papa Bear can't seem to
find a Christmas tree for his family. Each one he finds has a family
of animals living in it. So, they decorate a live tree in the woods.
